A NEW CUTAWAY CONCEPT CONCEPT FOR AN ELECTRIC SEMI-HOLLOW GUITAR

=======================================================================================

A NEW CUTAWAY-VARIATION FOR AN ES335-TYPE SEMI-HOLLOW ELECTRIC GUITAR.

This cutaway variation simply combines the "Mickey Mouse-ear" shape in the upper cutaway, with the more pointed/sharp es175-type bottom cutaway.

I have never seen this variation ever before in any guitar.

I used my built-in Microsoft "paint" program to edit-together the 2 cutaways, in various colors, so they could be combined in a visual image that would give an impression of the look.

Please ignore the details that don't line up properly, such as pickups, bridge, pick-guard, etc.

The images are just intended to portray the overall appearance of the body-shape & cutaway.

Also keep in mind that the es335 is usually 1.75" or 2" thick at the edge, while the es175 is much thicker, at 3.5".

I imagine this guitar to be the thinner,
es335-type body thickness.

If you have an opinion about this shape, please leave a comment at the bottom of the page.
